Marisa grew up in Miami, Florida in the 1980s. Her two passions from youth were artistic expression and animals. 

After high school she went to work in veterinary operations.

Marisa retired from her work in the veterinary arena after 27 years, then moved to Ocala, Florida to pursue her love of art.

Today Marisa is expanding her knowledge of the artistic world and also nurturing her love of animals with her flock of ducks, Red Footed Tortoise and 2 Dachshunds.

Future plans will involve expanding into mixed media and finding new artistic avenues to bring her two passions together.
